Are there any brand marketing companies in Los Angeles that offer six figure salaries and have project managers who handle tracking hours against budgets instead of relying on account managers to do it along with all of their other responsibilities? Am I being naive?

Okay, I currently have Marketing Degree (fresh graduate), however, I am debating on whether or not I should go for a Finance degree also since it could be achieved in only 6 months since most of the material overlaps. Does anyone know how much of an financial increase in salary a finance degree will get me on top of a marketing degree? If it helps I am interested in becoming a brand manager.

I was offered an opportunity to handle the west coast operations. It is to entail west coast sales and marketing/branding. The company is small but growing. I understand that my marketing/branding solutions would assist in creating a brand identity. What is a good offer for this position. I was thinking 30% commission. There is no salary involved… straight commission. Should i offer my marketing services on the side? Should there be increases on top of the 30% based on exceeding goals? and how much would be fair? thanks guys/gals….

The position is in a company of 200 employees. The Marketing Dept consists of 8 salesmen, the Marketing Director, and this position. The responsibilities are:

-Ad, brochure, flyer, etc design and creation using Adobe CS2
-Generation of marketing plans and strategies for brand awareness, brand strengthening, etc
-Coordinating of tradeshows
-Website (solely taking care of all website issues, code changes, updates, etc using Adobe Dreamweaver)
-Basically everything other than selling and managing the salesmen
-Reports to the Marketing Director

I have recently been job hunting and a lot of sources tell you to write down things you are interested in and sadly one was alcohol. I have known people who worked for companies that just go from bar to bar and market they brand. Does anyone know how to get into this field? Thanks everyone.
